C++Builder is known as a RAD (Rapid Application Development), successor to programs like Turbo C or Borland C++, born after the company stopped producing these programs.

C++Builder offers you a complete programming setting, combining a Visual Component Library with an IDE written in Delphi, in addition to the C++ compiler itself. All of it is in a completely visual setting, in which C++Builder lets you program by "drag&drop;" to the application. Thus, working with C++Builder is much simpler and more intuitive, as it also includes a WYSIWYG graphic interface builder in its IDE.
